2020 Wrap up! Looking forward to 2021
We made it! I think everyone would agree that we are excited to see 2020 end and, more importantly, looking forward to seeing what 2021 brings. This is a great time to reflect on the accomplishments in 2020.
As an agricultural community, we have seen several changes in 2020, but one thing is consistent, we never stop manufacturing feed to keep the world going. Was it easy? NO! But we did it through perseverance and the drive to provide safe, healthy food to America and the rest of the world.
How did we do this? The same way we have always done it. Yes, we have adapted to the changes in the business, i.e., communicating via ZOOM and Microsoft TEAMS versus face-to-face meetings in lieu of attending tradeshows and nutritional conferences, as well as the disruptions in the supply chain. It broke all our hearts when we saw packing plants and warehouses shut down due to the COVID-19 outbreaks. On the positive side of things, the awareness of where our food supply comes from made headlines, and thus, we were able to tell our story of how we make meat, milk, and eggs and get them to the grocery store. It takes teamwork and a good plan to bring this all together during a pandemic.
What does 2021 hold in store? I am not sure anyone would commit. One thing is for sure is that we will probably continue to see changes, shutdowns, and disruptions in supply change. But we have learned how to overcome and get through these challenges. It takes a good team. I would like to encourage you to reach out to the Insta-Pro team.
